In order to carry out the actions we planned for this DAO, we request funding for the following activities in June:


Council Matters:

  • Council = 1000 USD (5 x 200 USD)

Administrative Matters:

  • MINTBASE STORE management = 150 USD
  • De-Fi experiments = 300 USD

Sub-total = 1450 USD


Stipends

#05 Artist Stipend Program

  • Artist´s second month reward = 720 USD (4 x 180 USD)
  • Managing the #06 Open Call = 200 USD
  • Jury = 400 USD (4 x 100 USD)
  • 2nd Artist Stipend Program Catalog - december (month 2 of 6) = 400 USD

Sub-total = 1720 USD


Educational Activities

June Seminar

  • Curatorship and pre-production = 200 USD
  • Speakers = 260 USD
  • Running the event = 200 USD
  • Event video editing = 200 USD

Sub-total = 860 USD


Incubadora Vertical

CUBA SHOTS = 500 USD

NFT Fair July = 200 USD

Creation of 3D templates for 3XR CreateThing = 270 USD

Sub-total = 970 USD

Total amount = 5000 USD

NOTE: All payout proposals will be for the N values displayed here; members of the Incubadora DAO council and members of the community will have to use this as a reference when asking for rewards. Those will be fixed once and if the request is approved by the council of the Creatives DAO. This must be done in order to protect the DAOs funds, otherwise we risk being unable to fulfill our commitments. That also means that members can ask for their payout at any point during the month. Used conversion rate: tba.

Why the DAO councils cannot to manage Mintbase store ?

The cap for council is 1500$, but we try to differentiate some tasks that are made by the council but that are made by specific council members, since they are hard work; mintbase actually relates to mintbase and currently gorilla shops integration + engaging with the artists to collect artwork to be minted and used in the art catalogues, and defi experiments was just a term coined long ago for everything that entails managing stablecoins, keeping track of what tokens are used for what, swapping, experimenting with different platforms, helping members of the community to ask their payouts in the different tokens we currently use, help them with 1on1 calls when they are too new to the ecosystem to even find their way with the help of tutorials, etc.

Maybe it would be cleaner for outside readers to just put 1450 on generic council, but since we also use this posts for internal management (we use them for reference so that each council knows whats up, not just to request the $), we started doing this 6 months ago or so.

Hi @Paul,

Thank you for the compliment :slight_smile: We appreciate all the encouragement and recognition that we are receiving to produce these tutorials, we are very happy that our work helps the Near community.

Regarding metrics, we generally do not include this information in our funding request, we normally present the data about our activities in our monthly report, but we can change that and start to present metrics here.

So, these are the matrices for the month of July:

  • have at least 30 applications in the Open Call, all made here in the forum

  • have at least 25 attend this month’s seminar

  • generate at least 20 transactions (NFTs) at the fair

  • reach at least 1k people watching our videos (Tutorials and Cubashots) on our Youtube channel.

  • generate dozens of users of our template in 3xr per month

  • create 3 NFTs of each supported artist (12)

Our speaker for July is the multidisciplinary artist, researcher and cultural producer DIDI.

Their research talks about themes related to collective (re)territorialization, identities, activism and anti-racist performance, in queer, black and immigrant cultural and artistic production of artists in the diaspora.
