Introduction:
The advent of the crypto crash showed that Digital Art & collectible NFTs are no exception to crypto volatility. Nifty Row seeks to offer investors an Asset backed NFT marketplace featuring the finest unsung audio and visual art including Music, Movies and starting with Digital & Physical Art.

Nifty Row will also feature the Nifty Row Token which will be managed by a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) that will operate through on-chain governance. The Nifty Row DAO token will function via the marketplace to provide ongoing support for the creative community.

In addition, Nifty Row plans to enable access to partner DeFi (Decentralized Finance) services such as credit, savings, staking and insurance which are usually not easily accessible to artists.

Marketing Plan

A. Influencer Marketing: We will work with some global art influencer and top African influencers on twitter, Instagram, discord, and Facebook as well as notable youth public figures and skit makers.

B. Community Marketing: We will invest in building a community that will be hosted on a messaging platform like telegram, discord, twitter, instagram & facebook. This will help with engagement, networking and dissemination of information.

C. Event Marketing: We will leverage existing events and also create our own events - virtual and physical. This will help establish us as authorities in the unsung art space and t is also a great way for us to do PR.

D. Content Marketing: We will leverage on these channels to put out content - blog, twitter spaces, clubhouse sessions, Youtube, podcast. This will serve as a funnel to build our community.

E. Events: Finally, for the purpose of strengthening NEAR’s African ecosystem, it will be important to continue sponsor and participate in events such as conferences & meetup for the creative communities in Africa.

F. Good Publicity: For the success of a Nifty Row we believe it is crucial to spread the word on the benefits of NEAR and blockchain at large to various key stakeholders in government and the general public who have misconception of blockchain as been related to money laundering and scams. A good outline of NEAR’s Foundation and ecosystem with appropriate media campaign will go a long way to alleviate this misconceptions.

An Increased number of NEAR transactions in Africa. This figure may be compared to other countries to determine the Marketplace and DAO’s impact.

Success Outcomes:

As we embark on these activities, the Nifty Row DAO will on-board and familiarize the local creative communities with NEAR’s Blockchain.

The Nifty Row DAO will encourage local creatives subgroups to actively participate in community engagement activities like Webinars, NFT competitions, meetups, collaborations and submit proposals for appropriate funding in future Nifty Row DAO creative fund and/or NEAR Foundation initiatives.

A community adopted feature complete NFT marketplace with support for Aurora for minting, auctioning and bidding/buying Art & NFTs.

Increased collaborations between Digital Artists communities with Physical artists communities.

Adoption of the Nifty Row DAO token by the creative community at large and also by token investors when an Aurora powered token sale is launched in the future.

Have you previously received funding from Near? Share your previous suggestion and report. Viewing from 10000 to 20000 and clicks from 1000 to 2000 is a good plan. With these metrics, is it not enough to have 20-100 users active?

Hello Stalking, thank you for your message and yes we are a NEAR Foundation grant recipient ($30,000) i mentioned at the end of the post.

Also, the social media route to active users are part of the more wider marketing plan goals 10,000 to 20,000 views. The wider marketing plan will include influencer marketing, content marketing, expanded paid ads through channels like Youtube, Art and NFT media channels, podcasts and exhibiting at conferences. These are beyond the budget for the social media marketing goals which is indicated under the budget section.

@pathfinder Also, i can confirm that we will be getting the support of the Blockchain Nigeria User Group (BNUG) for our physical and online meetups which should give us some additional 200 to 350 active users. The group has over active 4000 members is one of the largest Blockchain awareness and policy influencing group. Myself and the founder Chuta Chimeze were members of the National Committee for drafting the Blockchain/Digital assets regulations for Nigeria (SEC Nigeria sets up a 10 member committee to draft a framework for blockchain and cryptocurrency. | DiutoCoinNews ). see also

The Nifty Row DAO comprises members of the art community and collectors of art. The DAO supports the adoption and promotion of Aurora/NEAR for minting and trading both Digital and Physical art NFTs through Nifty Row.

I had written a budget with breakdown earlier (see below) for a 3 months period at a total cost of $9,900

Monthly marketing budget ($3,300) :

I also note that we only tend to approve proposals on a monthly basis, specially new projects. I would only be willing to consider this proposal for the first month.

Thanks for the proposal @bolajinr – are you able to revise the requested funding amount to a month, which would give you approval from a majority of the council, so we can see how the marketing activities progress?

I’m also curious whether you have plans to build marketing budget into your business model as you move towards launch, as you will no doubt need regular budget to continue promoting, marketing, events, PR, etc., in the future. I’d recommend considering how to develop revenue streams that can support some marketing activities, as ultimately in the long run, that’s going to be important and vital to the project’s success.
