OBJECTIVE: The main goal of the project was to produce 3 videos about the FEMINU Exhibition (Feminine NFTs Universe Exhibition) to add material information to FEMINU DAO’s work and show the role FEMINU has on artists’ lives through their statements.
The videos were recorded with 3 artists, then edited, compiled, and posted on FEMINU’s youtube.
It was also intended to document it to encourage more artists to join International FEMINU Exhibition, as well as those who had already participated in the FEMINU Exhibition.
As it was proposed the artists were invited to record their statements during this month to be part of this project.
In an open format, the proponent, @mayramendes, let the artists feel free to give their statements about their journey before and after the FEMINU Exhibition and what was added to the artists’ lives by participating in the FEMINU EXHIBITION. It was proposed that the artists send their work if they wanted to be part of the video.
Invited Artists:
Naju, a self-described illustrator who joined NEAR through the FEMINU exhibition, in her statement, talks about the importance of the exhibition in her life and how it has changed her plans for the future. She also explains the difference FEMINU has made in her life, emphasizing the representativeness of FEMINU’s ideals and work opportunities in the digital world. After joining NEAR, Naju, in addition to increasing her visibility and selling her artwork by participating in MintbaseSunday. She received a scholarship offered by Octopode DAO and was invited to participate in the 2nd Edition of Octopode DAO with one of her artworks. She will be involved in organizing the 8th Edition of MintbaseSunday along with @macieira and, in addition to writing her first Proposal for July, has just been elected a member of FEMINU DAO.

Márcia Boni is an artist and interior designer.
She describes the importance of her work in the FEMINU exhibition, reflecting on her personal and artistic journey and what inspires her. She also shares with us a bit of her artistic work and tells us how she joined FEMINU and her experience in the digital world. @marciaboni, now joins the network having been chosen as a member of FEMINU DAO and is beginning to learn and become active as many other FEMINU artists have already done and are still doing, contributing to the engagement of other new artists in a movement that is becoming branched and exponential.

Rita Maria, a nomad artist, musician, educator, and organic-digital artist, develops research associated with listening to the body’s voice, improvisation, creative processes, feminism, and decolonization. She describes her physical works as interactive concerts by inviting people to watch to compose the sound environment and the collective sonority by improvising, sensitizing, listening, and using different instruments. She presents her work Exhibited at FEMINU, also her experiences during the process of the exhibition and after FEMINU. Also talks about her connection to the physical and digital world. @ritamaria wasted no time after joining the NEAR network through FEMINU. During these 3 months, she participated in several proposals, Bounties, and other events actively, working with different artists and always diversifying and enriching the community with her projects. She is active not only for FEMINU but also for Gambiarra Dao, Dance DAO besides joining Nomadelabel DAO as a member and will be Onboarding the upcoming FEMINU International. Justification (Benefits): FEMINU was the only event that took place in the NFT world that offered an opportunity for an exclusive exhibition for trans, cis, and non-binary artists. Such initiative was extremely relevant since gender bias does not offer equal pay and opportunities to artists. The proposal to produce the videos with the testimonials represents the voice of some artists who relate what FEMINU added to their lives, about their work in physical and metaverse art, as well as their experiences in the FEMINU Exhibition and the ones that preceded it.
The statements represent some of our artists, where they can share a little about themselves and their work, their feelings and experiences inside FEMINU DAO, and their physical and metaverse artwork accomplished before and after the FEMINU Exhibition.
Even before it was a Dao, FEMINU began in @Ghini 's dreams, which were initially realized through FEMINU, a Brazilian metaverse exhibition, with support from Near, Gambiarra, Cryptovoxels, Museu.xyz, Supernova Arts (physical Gallery), Octopode Studio (now Octopode DAO).
It featured 60 cis, trans, and non-binary women, sharing the making and building of art.
This material will go down in history as an important record to invite other artists into the community, and also give voice to our cis, trans, and non-binary women artists, as well as approach gender issues and artistic discussions.

Budget
Each invited artist will receive 50 USD for their statement as previously planned, a total of 150 USD in NEAR.
Naju will receive 50 USD in NEAR.
Márcia will receive 50 USD in NEAR
Rita Maria will receive 50 USD in NEAR
Mayramendes will receive for the proposal, report, curation, artist’s invitation, organization of the materials, and deadlines as well as for the editing, sound design, credits, and finalization of all the vídeos 250 USD in Near
