Hi everyone! @marketingdao-council

Based on the previous proposal [Closed] Participating & Organizing Coinfest Asia August 2023 Side Event in BALI and after consultation with the Near Foundation team, and also supports transparency in our activities,

We are Near Indonesia hereby submit a proposal to participate in the activity for one of the biggest Web3 event in Indonesia: https://coinfest.asia/

Based on quite serious discussions and coordination with the Near Foundation team and Paras, we from NEAR Indonesia will not be holding activities that we hosted ourselves in the previous proposal and will support the activities that will be made at the side event, namely WEB3WAVE 2023

It’s going to happen in August 23-26th in Bali, Indonesia mainly hosted by Paras team and supported by Near Indonesia team

Goals
We support activities during Coinfest Asia and Web3Wave events to focus on the networking and onboarding funnel:

  1. Building relationships with key persons from the blockchain community, project owners, exchanges and devs both locally and internationally
  2. Provide information about NEAR Protocol, BOS and existing dApps
  3. Educating about I-am Human, NDC and ultimately onboarding

Why do we have to come to this event? Since last year, there have been many collaborations for the development of the NEAR & Aurora Indonesia community and missing this event means missing an opportunity

Deliverables

  1. Gained new contacts during Coinfest and Web3Wave events > 50 people
  2. Providing booths at Web3Wave events related to NEAR
  3. Onboard >25 people to join NEAR and expected willing to register on I-am Human
  4. Involved in >3 side event sessions for Networking Coinfest Week | ASIA’S IMMERSIVE WEB3 FESTIVAL IS BACK

Note: Sorry for submitting this proposal now, because in the last 2 weeks we have been waiting for a response from the Near Foundation team and in the end suggested to separate funding for the event sponsorship and participation

Hey Taylor, thanks for asking:

  1. We got support from Coinfest team to list our side event calendar on Coinfest Week | ASIA’S IMMERSIVE WEB3 FESTIVAL IS BACK, this helps us to boost the awareness
  2. We collaborate together with Paras team to do personal invititation during the pre-event and the main event on 24-25th August
  3. Using our social media and existing communication channels is a must
  4. Just like we did in the previous year, this approach is quite effective for following up with people we’ve already met to join our event to strengthen the relationships

The approved proposal will be included in the following request to NDC Trust, and the trust should authorize it first and then transfer it to Marketing DAO treasure: the expected payment date is the last week of August.
