Specific Objective
The proposal is to enable the production and post-production of the song Caminhos Abertos that make up Pt 1. of the project: Compiled solo, within a schedule of 2 months, aiming at the future execution of the project in its entirety, with the possibility of adding different colabs in the second phase of the same.
The larger body
Having taken previous forms, the Lado B 2k77 project consists not only of artistic production, but interaction between artists, producers, daos and other online and offline communities, resulting in the production of 12 music tracks in total, with the participation of more than 7 vocalist composers and more than 3 independent music labels, and can also introduce the Near ecosystem among other blockchain platforms as a working and consuming environment to various creative teams.
The execution
In an attempt to bring the project’s articulating DNA to interact in the ecosystem, the execution proposal is to treat it as a chain of blocks: Focus on recording the initial 6 audio tracks, invite 3 different music producers to work on 2 tracks each, and bring each audio track in a different proposal, with periods of 2 months each, enabling the participation of different music daos that can follow the construction of the project in the forum and, by identification, accept to be part of the chain and receive one of the proposals for collective musical production that will compose the Lado B project.
About Sustainability
For more than 10 years developing an independent musical career, the author of the project keeps in focus the construction of a collective and sustainable system of work, aiming at the quality of the final products with the objective of adding value to the deliveries of the underground scene, making it possible, not only for agents of this scene to reach new contractors but also new audiences.
The initiative starts from the analysis of an ideological dynamic, supported by media actions, which nationalize, sanitize, and propagate ideas and specific images of what “an artist is or should be,” thus leaving a huge number of artists out of its range and under a veil of invisibility, marginalization, and even criminalization for some groups of underground artists.
In her first steps on Web3, artist and cultural agitator @TayOlua invites powerful teams with whom she has been walking and producing, after a period of study and discovery of incredible projects, to bring their underground narratives to a space where decentralization and autonomy are debated around such delicate themes as finances and labor under perspectives that, for the independent peripheral scene in Brazil, are very new and can be transformative for the whole society around each group that accesses these spaces of collision of realities.
The objective of collective articulations is to foment the distribution of income among agents of this scene, making it possible to germinate creative seeds that, before, had no resources to grow, and, from the collectivity, produce an aura of security, autonomy and proactivity in the strengthening of productions, media actions and even awards among underground artists, working a logic of counter-narrative that, instead of forming artists willing and produced to migrate to a mainstream market, can also form artists willing to promote the underground market, breaking the logic of concentration of plays, resources, looks, and rights inserted through capitalism.

The proposal, in the words of the author, “was supposed to be about future, but the tomorrow I wrote yesterday has not reached me yet”. The creative seed comes from an aesthetic research around timbres and rhythms, seeking a sound design loaded with different references, resulting in a sequence of experimental songs that, in 2018, was named Futurist.
Having integrated the setlist of different shows by artist Tay Oluá and been rearranged by Banda Baea, the songs from the Futurista EP continue to be revisited in search of their own formats.
In parallel with the solo compositions, different partnerships are developed, intertwining ideals, philosophies, feelings, and impressions about the world in collaborative verses, making understand a continuity in the solo and collaborative narratives and giving another name to this larger body, because talking about future is complex in the so-called third world, turning Futurista into Lado B 2k77 Musical Production.
