[Closed] Becoming an Ambassador for NEAR PROTOCOL in my UNIVERSITY

I’m Emmanuel from Nigeria and I’d like to propose an Ambassadorship deal in my University.
I’m a student of the University of Benin, Nigeria(https://uniben.edu.ng/)
I’m currently in my final year. I’m a member of A team of crypto Enthusiast “Blockchain Uniben”, a community aimed at empowering students via exposing them to legitimate practical way to gain financial freedom here in school.

I’d like to represent NEAR in my University (NEAR PROTOCOL UNIBEN), host both physical and virtual events to educate students about Blockchain and its benefits, hold meetings and seminars with other universities leading to mass adoption of the NEAR protocol Blockchain in schools.

GOAL
Our main focus here is

  1. Mass adoption and creation of NEAR wallets.
  2. Exposure to opportunities in NEAR protocol for students.(Programming, Graphics Design, Web3.0)
  3. Increase brand awareness and community growth.
  4. Blockchain Education for students in school who are newbies to crypto currency.

HOW DO I PLAN TO ACHIEVE THIS?

  1. Set up a “NEAR PROTOCOL UNIBEN” here in school, with the aim of getting more students to embrace NEAR.
  2. Set up a community (Telegram) in the University.
  3. Take a survey to get the best three more Ambassadors to join me as Community Managers and Organizers in the community.
  4. Host AMAs every week, covering topics like Web3, decentralization and Opportunities in the Blockchain.
  5. Create social media accounts on the community to create awareness on NEAR Protocol.

REQUESTS.
FUNDING BREAKDOWN

Admin (Me) - $200 monthly for managing the community virtually and on social media, with weekly AMAs, trading lectures and Blockchain Education.

Three Ambassadors - $200 each($600 in total) monthly for their assistance as community managers and organizers.

Monthly giveaways to community members - $50 worth of NEAR.
The giveaways will be done by active participation in the AMAs being hosted, and questions asked about what was learnt.
Data consumption - $100 to cover up data for hosting live events and zoom calls.
Graphics Designs - $60 every month(six designs every month) for designs used in virtual events as well as social media pages.
Total - $1010 (95N) at $10.67/N

What are the distribution channels for the giveaway?

$100 per month for designs? How many designs?

For a student organization, I think there’s a bit more being asked here than necessary.

Distribution would be done on the community channel.(telegram and twitter.)
I’ve reduced the giveaway to $50.

As for the designs, we’re looking at a minimum of 6 designs per month.
One every week. (For AMAs)
And two for social media postings.
Also reduced to $60. That’s $10 per design.

Hi @skthealternator – here are two things I would like to see that would make me give my support for you to try this project out:

  • Start project with you as the ambassador, no funding for the additional ambassadors for first month (because they are not part of the project yet). Select your candidates, introduce them in your next proposal with funding request for their work.
  • Give us more details about the AMAs/education you plan to share with other students. Proposals that include a schedule/event dates, list of proposed topics you plan to cover, links to social media channels, etc., are more likely to get support from the council.
