- AR (air in English) is the name from the singer/songwriter Barbara Rodrix’ new album.
- Barbara Rodrix (barbararodrix.near); MARO; Diogo Duque and Raul Misturada are the members of the project.
- We are going also to fund the studio’s cost and videos/photos’ cost for the project.
- The recording sessions will happen from April till May of 2023.
AR Recording Sessions Proposal:
AR is the first album that the Brazilian artist Barbara Rodrix fully composed living in Portugal and will celebrate the Brazil/Portugal mixture in 8 new tracks.
Those songs were conceived during a research of sounds headed by Barbara and the producer Raul Misturada. They’re using and experimenting on its pre-production new kinds of tuning at the acoustic guitar and a new concept of mixing strings of the guitars.
Big names from the Portuguese music are already confirmed, such as Portugal Eurovision contestant MARO and the trumpeter Diogo Duque.
One of the sounds of the experimental guitar will be transformed in a NFT and will be Minted at Tataoim DAO’s Mintbase. Also, every post or Reels about the production must have a NEAR Protocol Logo in it.
A video of the Recording Highlights will be posted on Barbara’s Instagram and YouTube with NEAR Protocol’s logo.
About Barbara Rodrix:
Barbara is a singer, songwriter, chef and entrepreneur from São Paulo. As a musician, she released two studio albums, worked with big names from Brazilian music, such as: MPB4, Zé Rodrix, Luiza Possi, Paulo Novaes and won the FAMPOP Festival in 2016.
Since 2021, she also dedicates herself to the Tataoim restaurant and label, as the head chef and business’ woman.

About the feat. MARO:
MARO is the most prominent name of the new Portuguese music and was the name of the country on 2022 Eurovision with the hit ‘saudade,saudade’. During the pandemic, MARO used her Instagram account to make music with the biggest stars, such as Eric Clapton, Jacob Collier and Mayra Andrade.
In 2023 the Portuguese journal Expresso chose MARO as one of the 50 most important people in Portugal from today.

About the producer Raul Misturada:
Born in the suburbs of Recife in Brazil, the producer, songwriter and singer Raul Misturada took São Paulo chaotic scene by the chance and became a celebrated producer, working with Zeca Baleiro, Chico César and Tó Brandileone.

About the instrumentalist Diogo Duque:
The Portugueses instrumentalist Diogo Duque started his journey at the Philharmonic Band of Felgar in Portugal and studied trumpet at Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa.
Well known in the Lisbon jazz scene, Diogo already have contribute with Mallu Magalhães, Tito Paris, Aurea and Salvador Sobral.
