Our Introductory post:
About 55SP
55SP is a multidisciplinary project whose principal objective is to spread contemporary art, fostering new collectors and artistic production through independent projects, with an experimental character and a belief in art as a transformation tool. We organize exhibitions, workshops, talks and online art residencies with mentorship, connecting curators/researchers and artists, in order to create bridges and intersections between different areas of art along with visual art.
In April we want to structure the DAO, create the gallery in MintBase and, in parallel, continue the actions mentioned in the introductory post, such as Ressonância and Bruno Baptistelli.
We believe that we will be able to start an engagement between the Near ecosystem and important cultural agents, reaching different platforms and channels promoting podcasts, virtual catalog and already preparing the artist circuit for Mintbase.

Specific Projects:
1- RESSONÂNCIA PODCASTS {PROPOSAL}
Goal: To continue the ongoing Ressonancia project, that aims to dialogue between visual and sound arts and address the diversity of cultural movements; a podcast with the same name and episodes published holding discussions in a democratic, accessible and global way of the transdisciplinary experience of art
In the month of July, we research new Portuguese artists, in order to exchange with different countries of the same language. As we did not record episodes last month, this month we plan to organize talks and script then.
We also want to invest in more videos and posts in order to publicize more of the podcasts that are already online and then to get back to recording in September.

2 - ESTAÇÃO RESSONÂNCIA {PROPOSAL}
Goal: With an ongoing research on Portuguese speakers artists whose works involve visual art and sound. The project consists of a platform to exhibit existing and unpublished works.
Those works are all going to be organized in an online exhibition platform and also minted and available at 55SP Mintabase store, released as digitals albuns.
This is an ongoing project and the idea is to add different artists, under different exhibitions and curatorships.
The Resonance Station page is under development and this month we will be investing in the research of Portuguese-speaking artists and improving the webpage.

Goal:
Real change can only emerge from the exercise of imagining a different world. “Mothering” is an invitation to dream, negotiate and expand the horizons of the possible. We aim to address the institutional and systemic constraints of motherhood, so we can look at mothering in its full potential.
Mothering is an exhibition and ongoing project, draws on collectivity and creativity as paths towards improving life in our community and beyond, as such we have reached out to partners and collaborators from multiple fields, beyond the visual arts, to participate in the public programme (dance, behaviour science, lactation) and publication (literature).
This is a 55SP projetc in partnership with Kupfer Project and will take place

5. [PROPOSAL] SOCIAL NETWORKS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
Impact and value:
We expect to grow 55SP’s followers having as its central objective to publicize the podcasts, with relevant and free research content, we believe that hiring a public relations agency that will take the podcasts to important communication vehicles plus the instagram ads, will generate engagement, growth in the number of followers of both the instagram itself and the podcasts on their respective platforms and with it aggregating these values and concepts to the Near community.
After the July and 1st week August PR effort and some nice results at important media vehicles we are going to work on social media with videos about the exhibition and artists
In the same mood as those made for Ressonancia at the beginning of year but with video shots from Mothering Exhibition, artworks and artists, also start videos with important info regarding music and art history. We believe those videos are good for audience engagement, by getting to know more about the exhibition and about sound art.
Metrics for measuring success:
- In August we plan to keep up the growth with ads, videos and also because Mothering as a group show finds engagement from the group of artists.
- We are publicizing our partnership with near on our networks and tagging all our posts with #nearprotocol and #near
- We also mention Near support at podcast description in all platforms.
Estimated timeline and achievement milestones:
- Produce 2 weekly posts on Instagram
- Produce 10 weekly stories
- Weekly boosts with investments of 20 to 25 USD per week. We believe it is necessary to invest a little more in boosting some posts on Instagram to continue to reach more people and interactions. This month we are going to focus on boosting Ressonância Podcasts Posts and Ressonancia Reels.
- As last month we targeted 12,5, we believe in maintaining consistency and regularity in publications, through teasers edited and created for Resonance Project and this month with focus on Mothering we can reach 12,7k followers.
- Create relations with communication and art vehicles, web magazines, other podcasts, with the support of PR agency with focus on Mothering that has a great potential to be in the media as it is an urgent and important topic.
