Kweku carnival is an anual musical carnival hosted in ghana, I’m opportune to be one of the organizers of this great event, many artist from different localities come together to celebrate kweku. This carnival is undoubtedly one of the biggest in our community as lot’s of artist often come together to showcase amazing talents there. However I’m planning of using this great avenue to onboard a lot of those productive talents to this family and I got a fantastic way of doing that. This carnival is on the 21th of may 2022 ![image](https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/flex005/uploads/gov_near/original/3X/6/1/6148b66942ba1abdf419d7ed66315c7619239638.jpeg) As a co-organiser i contacted other members and told them about Near and how impactful the community near is, and they all loved the idea. _OBJECTIVE_ Introducting near to the general public as a tool of promoting our community, this carnival bring together a lot of people from different places, so i think is best we make use of this opportunity to onboard as much as we can. I’ll also be organizing a singing and art competition among them and the whole contestant gets a customized near T-shirt, meanwhile the winner wins the total sum of 100$. They’ll also be a general quiz for the whole audience related to near and NFT, winners gets a new wallet creation and near gift prizes. _JUSTIFICATION_ I’m onboarding minimum of 25 talented arts to the near family, in other words I can onboard way more than that, Wallet creation for all my co-organizers and guest, there’s gonna be massive near wallet creation on that day. _Budget_ The whole sum up budget will cost 494$ _Breakdown_ Quality customized Near Printed T-shirt ( 20 pieces) 220$ Near wallet creation 94$ Singing competition 100$ Quiz 80$ @kc_sollano @Symbolik@NatalieCrue @zubairansari07 Let’s get this job done and these community engaged in the bright future of Near Target: sollusion.near Thank You. ---

I like this proposal and we haven’t supported a Ghanaian project, as far as i remember. I like the clear aim of onboarding those assisting to put on the event as well as guests. A minimum of 25 people is good, more would be great! The trivia to re-enforce learning is cool. ---

Replies Been familiar with near since 3 months now and counting, Also a member of nxm and spiritual dao of Near Became a member of this dao early last month This Carnival is holding at Okai koi south (De mod street) opposite family and friends bar Accra ghana The last carnival was indeed a massive one, it was so so massive as a lot of popular singers like (moliy)came for the carnival too. This carnival is a street carnival so the whole community is expected to be out for this carnival. And about 25 artist? , Before each performance we’ll take down their details and ensure the wallet creation before their respective performances, and generally onboarding other arts and audiences as expected. @mr_free ---

Yeah firstly we’ll generally have the mc (master of the ceremony) educate the whole audiences about Near ecosystem. Secondly Near related quiz, asking near and NFT related questions to make them understand how important near is and ecosystem function, winners are entitled to our customized shirts and little near token in their wallet. Thirdly the singing competition as well, winners will also get same prizes and Near customized shirts, in that way it gets interesting for the audiences to also get informed and create wallet as well. @chloe ---

My first near wallet was jebutu.near ( my family name) Had to create this sollusion.near because it’s not a musical name, started using sollusion.near since that april 30th. I don’t think the onboarding element of the proposal is clear enough. I’d love to support this if the onboarding was clearly outlined. How will you help people to onboard to NEAR and how many people will be actived? ---

I’ll be using my personal near drop link to onboard as many as possible, already got in touch with @Paul to activate a near drop link. Undoubtedly I’ll be activating more than 100 wallets or more considering the crowd and arrangements on ground already. All performing artist and singers will get new activated wallet before their respective performances… The near drop link will be shared massively to everyone (guest, organizers, and audiences) Also I’ll be sending some coverage videos to be minted also. At this time, I’m currently working to a create custom unique bar codes for each link to share to each and everyone that attends this event. After which, instructions will be passed to them on how they can use the barcode paper slips to open their near wallets as the fastest way to reach out to everyone. All onboarding strategy have been strategize already. @Symbolik
