We at KIL DAO are trying to reach new heights in terms of events in the local metaverse and we’ve proven our worth after successfully organizing our third live poetry event. In addition to that, KIL DAO just executed Volume 2 of MetaStraits and it’s got the attention of Esplanade Singapore - so we’re excited to share how Volume 3 is set to position this endeavor on a regional stage! To recap, MetaStraits pairs 2 artists from 2 different countries in Asia for each Metaverse performance to achieve a cross pollination of fans in attendance just like the model of a physical music festival. We paired Singaporean couple duo Chris & Rachel (Chris is one of the most notable brass players in Singapore having played for Stefanie Sun, Jay Chou, Charlie Lim etc) with Malaysian artist Julio Singho. This time, beyond just cross-pollinating fans and onboarding more people into the NEAR ecosystem, we have got the attention of a potential partner, Esplanade Singapore, Singapore’s most recognizable performing arts centre.
KIL DAO has been in email talks with Esplanade Singapore since March 2022 to collaborate on a hybrid version of MetaStraits, leveraging on the metaverse performances as a means of premiering talent which can then be featured physically live on Esplanade Stages. @dreebsby has just confirmed that as of their meeting at 3pm on Tuesday 5 July 2022, Esplanade Singapore will be attending MetaStraits Vol 3 with a view to work with KIL DAO and be onboarded to the NEAR ecosystem for partner events. KIL DAO aims to continue the series with Volume 3 of MetaStraits on the last day of July, with a view to continue consistently featuring bigger and better talent which pulls larger crowds.

Keep It Local Live Presents It’s Lit Volume 4

  • Proposed Date and Venue : July 30 2022 at The Playground, Cryptovoxels

  • Time : 9pm - 10pm

  • The live poetry reading/special showcase from three writers/poets. The writers/poets and KIL will produce and pre-record a performance for the showcase. This showcase will be streamed via KIL’s Twitch channel and broadcast at The Playground CV.

  • Each writer/poet will be given a maximum duration of 12 minutes to perform for each showcase. The audience will then be directed to the virtual gallery to view and receive an exclusive NFT by KIL.

  • KIL will mint 1 NFT’s created by the artists on our official MINTBASE Store.

  • The event will be promoted via KIL’s channels on social media including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Telegram.

*** Expected Metrics of success - Create and Gift 10 new NEAR Wallets, crowd attendance to be at a minimum of 50 pax and to give out 10 Free NFT’S.**

Event Management for 1x events - $500
Performance Fee for 3x writers/poets - $600 (200 USD each)
Venue fee for The Playground at Cryptovoxels - $50 for 1x events
Twitch production - $60 for 1x events
Marketing and Promotion for 1x event (Design for posters and promo materials) - $300

Details / List of Activities during KIL Live on Sunday 31st July 2022: 2 Performances in 1 Evening
⦁ Proposed Date and Venue : 31st Jul 2022 at The Playground, Cryptovoxels
⦁ Time : 9pm (Malaysian Artist Showcase) & 9:30pm (Singapore Artist Showcase)
⦁ Live performance/ special showcase from one headlining artist for each show. The artists and
KIL will self produce and pre-record a performance for the showcase. The showcase will be streamed via KIL’s Twitch channel and broadcast at The Playground CV.
⦁ Artist will be given a duration of 20 minutes to perform for THE showcase. The audience will then be directed to the virtual gallery to view or purchase an exclusive NFT by the artist.
⦁ KIL will mint 1 NFT created by the artist on our official ⦁ MINTBASE Store.
⦁n10 FREE NFT’S will be given out during the event. The criteria to obtain those rewards is to have a newly created NEAR account along with sharing the best caption about the event on Social Media. Winners will be tracked via tags @keepitlocal.asia @nxmlive and hashtags #KILDAO #NEAR

Hi @JudeKIL, can you explain what tasks are involved in the Event Management in the proposals?

Why event Management is charged twice for the same event with just 30 minutes different? Thank you

Hey @williamx thanks for the feedback as we are more than happy to answer your questions.

Malaysia and Singapore team from KIL DAO will be working concurrently from their respective countries as they are easily accessible to the artist.

I have added the list of items below.

  • Itinerary for Keep It Local Live - call time, set times and duration of performance
  • obtaining assets from all acts from Malaysia and Singapore artist
  • Promo Instructions for artist to post on social media (KPI and Deliverables)
  • creating project brief for both acts (KPI and Deliverables
  • minting of NFT’S via KIL Store for Malaysia and Singapore Artist
  • Video recording and images from event for monthly reports
  • Coordinating with @netunoblu for Twitch streams for 2 videos
  • Produce 2x videos for talent
  • Coordinate with venue The Playground at Cryptovoxels on the itinerary/agenda, parcel placements, NFT promos

In hindsight, the budget is allocated for both our events teams in Malaysia and Singapore

Hi @JudeKIL, thank you for the clarification. Just want to confirm the total budget when I calculated for 2 proposals is $3980, am I missing something?

Besides, are you going to host 2 separated events on a same night?

Hey @williamx apologies once again as we had two different council members do up the proposal so there was a slight confusion. I have adjusted the costings accordingly and I did not include the extra $210 that is needed for DAO Facilitation. Also, the events are to be held on different day 30th and 31st respectively. I have changed the dates as well, thanks for pointing that out for us.

Hope it is much more clearer now.
