What is the CreativesDAO?
The CreativesDAO is an overarching body for all creative contributors in the NEAR ecosystem. It aims to empower artists and creators by providing them a platform for collaboration with the tools and resources they need to monetize their work and connect with their audience by utilizing the NEAR protocol and its associated technologies.

In order to submit the proposal, a DAO has to provide a detailed report, based on the CreativesDAO Report Template. New DAOs must deliver detailed introductions,

A new DAO, that first time applies for funding can request $2000 for its objectives. A DAO applying for the second time can request $3000. A DAO applying for the third time can request $5000. A DAO that has been funded before by Creatives DAO can request $5000,

A DAO can get funding only 3 times a year,

A DAO can lock up 10% of the total requested amount for marketing purposes,

DAO has to submit a proposal one month in advance (find the âFunding Scheme Exampleâ below),

If a DAOâs proposal is closed, they can submit an upgraded one in the next funding round,

Moderators have the right to close the proposal if the latest report hasnât passed the evaluation process,

A DAO can apply for funding in nUSDC or NEAR tokens. Please note, if the value of the NEAR tokens will drop, thereâs no value adjustment to the dollar equivalent marked in the proposal,

In the new version of CreativesDAO on Astro, moderators serve as council members and are not permitted to hold council positions in any other DAOs within the CreativesDAO ecosystem.
Timelines for proposal submission and its rules

DAO has time between the 1st (00:00 UTC) and 7th (23:59 UTC) day of the month to submit the proposal,

From the 8th to the 15th, the proposals will be reviewed and discussed on the forum if any questions or concerns are to be addressed,

The final decision by the moderators will come on the 16th,

Till the 30th the list of approved and rejected proposals will be out with a clarification on the results,

The maximum score that a project proposal can receive from the review committee is 15 points,

In order to have a proposal eligible for approval, a DAO must score 9 points (60%); the average of contributors voting,

Evaluation of the activities will be based on the collective contributorsâ decision,

One activity rejection doesnât mean the rejection of the whole proposal.
