# Brief Summary

- Node can now shutdown cleanly with SIGTERM, SIGINT, and Ctrl+C;
- [Mochi DAO](https://v2.sputnik.fund/#/mochi.sputnik-dao.near) will be used to alleviate Developer Platform from smaller work items;
- Wallet are making process improvements to increase velocity;
- Transaction Runtime is making steady progress towards sharding;

# Results

- Node Experience released 1.20.0-rc1 on Testnet;
- [Rust SDK book](https://sdk-g4yv.onrender.com/) is taking shape;
- Developer Platform had a long and thoughtful discussion on Rust SDK and decided that Rust SDK book will land in explanation quadrant, and [near\_sdk - Rust](https://docs.rs/near-sdk/latest/near_sdk) will land in reference quadrant, see below

- Developer Platform [cleaned up logging calls in nearcore Python tests.](https://github.com/near/nearcore/pull/4414) Node Experience team rejoice 🙂
- Wallet made [a new release](https://github.com/near/near-wallet/pull/1891);
- Wallet now displays a splash screen for newly foundation-funded accounts;
- Transaction runtime can now run state application in separate threads per chunk;
- Contract Runtime has researched gas metering overhead;

# Challenges and Blockers

- Node Experience is [blocked on adding CI check for publishing crates](https://github.com/near/nearcore/issues/4379). An input from Contact Runtime team (@matklad ) and Node Interfaces team (@frol ) is required. Also Developer Platform team needs to be aware of it (@jim , @mikedotexe );
- Runtime param estimator is showing discrepancies depending on how people write benchmarks and how they run it. Someone needs to own DevX of this tool. @Longarithm and @nearmax are looking into it. This is creating disruptions for Aurora and Transaction Runtime teams;
