Summary
On the 02/07/22 muti DAO and BCC DAO will come together to make a magical event happen! It will be a multidisciplinary meeting of three art forms - film, poetry, and music - and set in the greenery of the Universidade de Coimbra Jardim Botânico (Coimbra University Botanical Gardens). The rental of the space allows populating 3 different spaces, which we are planning on doing. Overall capacity (depending on covid regulations by the time) approx. 150 pax.
In producing the event, we will onboard local poets and a local illustrator to work with us as well as a musician for the concert.
We are planning on selling NFT tickets alongside traditional ticketing as well as offering redeemable NFTs on our stall.
The costs will be split between the two DAOs and we will add the monthly costs upon the budget request in order to guarantee that all positions are covered. Some values are already known, others we will only know in the upcoming weeks. As this is an event of a bigger scope, we will start the preparation already in April in order to guarantee a nice experience for all participants and to provide a nice web2/web3 mixture.
Due to a delay of funds in May from one of the DAOs we are posting the overall budget in here so that both DAOs can request the according amount each month.

UPDATE
Due to the elevated price of the original location in Coimbra we moved the event to Sertã to Kaya Shanti Beach Café where we had already organized several events. That way we will be able to save a big amount of the budget for the venue and move it towards the needed gear and DAO self-sustainability.
