There, we mention the latest progress achieved:
We have quickly positioned ourselves, thanks to our pluridisciplinar and multi-ethnic team, as one of the leading communities in Malaysia.
**With 70 builders, 1200 Telegram members and 1500 Twitter followers, we are making waves!** No other L1 blockchain has a similar footing in Malaysia!
- Cardano : 400 members
- ETHKL: 760 members
- Fantom: 80 members
- Terra: 630 members.
We will continue focusing on education and Web3 entrepreneurship.

Several AMAs!
**ROADMAP AHEAD** :
Here are some of the events we have lined up for December, January, and February.
- AMAs with Fluxus, Pembrock, LEAP, PlayEmber, NEARStarter, Together.
- myBuilders (Malaysian builders) meeting #3 for brainstorming & networking.
- Attendance to events by partners & friends in the community (BNB Chain, Starkware, Future Trends…
- Attendance to university events (APU).
- Attendance to partner events (Women In Blockchain Asia (WIBA), and MRANTI)
**FUNDING REQUEST**
For this, we are requesting the following funding: 4470 USD (see breakdown)
I’d like to emphasize that this funding is purely to cover external expenses related to events. We are not getting any retribution for community management, transportation, etc.
Excess funds will be used till they run out (e.g last funding in summer has lasted us till November, more than initially expected).
**GUILD KPIs**
Over the next three months, we intend to :
- Hit 3000 members in Telegram and Twitter (10% growth vs now)
- Hit 100 members in myBUILDERS
- Help connect 2 more project founders create pitch decks and connect to VCs (4 done so far YTD)
- Help 2 more projects submit Grant Proposal (2 done so far YTD)
- Help 20 new Malaysians sign up for Near Academy & Near University Courses via LNC and NEAR Singapore / Near Malaysia Bootcamps.

One of the most consistent guilds in the ecosystem. Their dual focus targets both developers and users. They also engage other guilds and communities within Near ecosystem and provide guidance and camaraderie. A truly exceptional guild spear headed by innovative leaders.

Hey @gonemultichain thanks for the proposal. A couple of things:
- Under our [new guidelines](http://gov.near.org/t/guidelines-for-assessment-marketing-dao-proposals/31645), the Marketing DAO can no longer support funding for events. We can pass your proposal along to the events team for further consideration.
- So we can do a proper review, can you submit the application form (without the events):

We are awaiting an update from the Events team before we can make a final decision on funding your proposal.

As you will be aware there have been considerable delays in processing this proposal, for which i would like to offer apologies.
The DAO council has reviewed your proposal and we have also asked NF to advise on the best way to support you in achieving your goals. As you might be aware, there was a pause in funding for all community DAOs last year and the Marketing DAO was relaunched with a much tighter remit.
Under current guidelines the Marketing DAO are focused on Content and Social Media funding. It is important to understand that regional communities play an important part in achieving NEAR ecosystem goals and we are working with the Foundation to find ways to support your needs.
Thank you for your understanding whilst we address these issues. In the meantime i have moved this proposal to Closed.
