**MAY THE FORTH BE NEAR YOU**

**OBJECTIVE:**
Engage artists to create art in the Star Wars theme, taking advantage of the hype of the month as it is a commemorative date for the franchise and fans are super active in events, celebrations and tributes.
This art is to engage and relax the artists in our ecosystem and draw the attention of potential fans to our protocol.
To encourage pop culture within the protocol and bring attention to that community.
**PROJECT:**
Following the values of Octopode DAO we realized that this action converges greatly with all of our eight principles: 1) Education; 2) Research; 3) Art; 4) Communication; 5) Technology; 6) Innovation; 7) Social; 8) Collective / Communication. In this way we lead participants to reflect on the importance of each theme in the DAO concept.
Registration for the bounty is done here in the comments and be sure to post your NEAR wallet along with the links to the minted NFT and the social media post.
**Rules:**
1- Make an art (NFT) with the Star Wars theme and Near
2 - Put the NEAR logo on the art (either interactively or not)
3 - Post on instagram and/or twitter and tag Octopode DAO
4 - Use the hastags: #maythefourthbeNEARyou #maytheforcebewithyou #octopodedao
5 - Post and mine the art by May 20.
**Prize:**
**1st Place** **- USD 125**
**2nd Place** **- USD 100**
**3rd Place - USD 75**
PS: Everyone who participates in this bounty is allowing the artwork to be used for future posts or divulgation within the communication channels and social networks. Always giving the required credit to the artist.
**Story:**
May 4 is considered a holiday by Star Wars fans to celebrate Star Wars culture and honor the movies. The day is called Star Wars Day because of the popularity of a pun. Since the phrase “May the Force be with you” is a famous quote often spoken in the Star Wars movies, fans commonly say “May the fourth be with you” on this day.
**Timeline:**
**May 4** - Start of receiving the artwork for the bounty
**May 20th** - 13H00 GMT-3 (Brazilian Time) - Artwork closes.
**May 21st** - 10 most voted artworks go to the final and DAO’s internal jury team will select the 3 winners.
**May 24th** - Winners results and payments.
**Budget:**
USD 450 in NEAR
USD 225 in NEAR to be paid to isadanoninho.near
USD 225 in NEAR to be paid to macieira.near
**PS1:** The prize value is already budgeted within the project value and will be the responsibility of the producers to make the payments.
