Dear members of the NDC Congress, we are concerned about delays in payments and the lack of announcements. More than six months have passed since our launching as NDC Degens, during which period we have completed a large number of tasks and created a perfect team that is ready to spend all its energy and time creating content around the Near Protocol.
In this proposal, we ask Congress to consider payment for our work of NDC Degens for December 2023.

November was really exciting and we broke our own record again. We expect even better results in December! We have prepared some changes in the work of Reddit, raids and content this month. We expect a large number of high-quality posts on Reddit, as well as an equally large amount of high-quality content (videos, articles, threads).

## Proposal
In accordance with Near Digital Collective Core Values, we will adhere to the same strategy that we had in October.
Right now, we can only do 1 of the 5 MDAO things. But we think it’s really important. We’ll do the other 4 things when Degens DAO joins NDC. If you read our documents, you can see we’re all set for that.
1. Accounts retention after 1/2/4/8 weeks — the percentage of accounts who continue interacting on the chain over a given time period (higher is better)
Right now, the main NDC Degens members are trusted members who have been part of the ecosystem for over a year. They know the features, dApps, Near Social, and everything else in the ecosystem very well. We want to increase the number of experienced users with Public Degens, which will start after Degens DAO gets funding as Grassroot.
1. Account acquisition cost — budget divided by the number of accounts interacting through the funded initiative (lower is better)
Right now that metric is not counted, but with future initiatives, we will be able to track every user that we’ve been able to onboard into the ecosystem
1. Median number of dApps used by P95 accounts retained for 1+ week (higher is better)
Also like the second point, we do not consider this indicator at this time, but will in the future.
1. Number of accounts retained for 1+ week using at least three dApps (higher is better)
We’ll think about how to solve this in the future when we move to full Grassroot.
1. Social engagement score — some compound metric of the number of posts, likes, and followers/views in social media produced by the users.
This is the primary focus for Degens. Our KPIs largely depend on the social media performance of each Degens member. Every month, our team aims to improve audience engagement. Adaptations to the primary tasks within the Near Ecosystem enable us to dynamically adjust our efforts, ensuring that the content created by Degens has a greater impact on the wider crypto community beyond the Near information sphere.
Therefore, we propose to organize our workflow for December as follows.
Objectives → Setting Goals → Agenda (Monthly, Weekly) → Working on Tasks → Reporting
## Goals
At the beginning of December, we established the main directions of work, which were distributed according to importance for the ecosystem.

2. Attracting the attention of influencers from Dev topics (Rust, Blockchain, Solidity, JSX and so on); ⭐⭐⭐⭐
3. Reddit posting focusing on dev’s direction (/r/rust/, r/devops/, /r/java/ and other); ⭐⭐⭐
4. NEW Direction, Reddit comments ⭐⭐⭐
5. Degens Content ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
6. The main focus is technical content that attracts developers and new users⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
7. Attracting attention to Near from projects in other ecosystems ⭐⭐⭐⭐
8. Support NDC announcements ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The stars indicate the priority of the task for Degens for December. All NDC Degens participants were instructed and understood the tasks that needed to be completed. We have distributed the focus of attention both to events within the ecosystem and beyond.
In December, we added a new direction to support the Reddit direction (Reddit Comments). Because we believe that reddit have a huge influence in crypto. Therefore, we want to strengthen our influence in this forum and will further develop this direction as much as possible.
Outside of the ecosystem, Degens will also work to attract attention from developers, influencers and projects. Last month we showed excellent results in this direction, we will try to do even more in December to achieve excellent results.
We have fulfilled the goals that were set in November.
Based on point 5 of the new requirements from MDAO, we see our KPI’s for December as follows:
- ~600,000 impressions on Twitter;
- At least 15 reactions from famous crypto influencers to our content;
- 5 pieces of content created by Influencers using targeting;
- At least 100 posts and content about development on Near;
- 100 YT targeting comments
- 30 direct twitter targeting posts
- At least 50 new posts in specialized subreddits (/r/rust/, r/devops/, /r/java/ and other)
- Full support of the agenda
- 5 manuals about project inside Near Protocol;
