Objective: The main objective of this set of projects is to produce, record and systematize NEAR presence on metaverse, and to register it on the blockchain. We intend to build 2 events on metaverse, with wearable giveaways, interviews, collecting NFTs, inasmuch as our monthly magazine and a series of podcasts about NEAR Protocol.
Justification (benefits): The relevance of this set of project is precisely to keep record of NEAR metaverse presence and keep it as a research material for future researchers, and also to develop NEAR visibility on metaverse and to educate people about NEAR Protocol. Shows with NEAR artists can be a way to introduce them to metaverse and to introduce metaverse to them, given that metaverse properties can be visited by many people, mainly in party days. And to collect near artists NFTs are important to them, to us because of historical intentions and because it stimulates NEAR artists to come to metaverse.
Timeline: January 5th - 31st, 2022
The NEAR Protocol has seen so much activities and events arise within its ecosystem. This development can only be cognizant of the fact that the NEAR protocol is conveniently expanding and providing solutions for individuals within the web 3 ecosystem. We at the MetaVerse Guild/DAO have observed these developments for a while and have decided to contribute our quota in love and gratitude for the NEAR Protocol towards helping it expand conveniently in areas where it is seeking more engagement and traction. This area of focus is none other than the METAVERSE and NEAR history on it.
We have seen the amount of exhibitions that have happened within the NEAR ecosystem as regards exhibition of NFTS in different VR environments showcasing NFTs minted on mintbase which is a Dapp in collaboration with the NEAR Protocol. We are also aware that the NEAR Protocol is rolling out plans to build its own virtual environment called NEARVerse, and NearHub and 3XR are a reality already. It is in this vein that we the METAVERSE DAO feel a call to responsibility to preserve the heritage of the NEAR protocol and also help it scale efficiently in glamour and productivity within the metaverse by initiating awesome projects in line with preaching the NEAR protocol gospel by building podcasts and portals within other VR environments to showcase assets within the NEAR protocol and advertise the productivity of the blockchain. Below are the projects that the METAVERSE DAO has outlined to actualize for the month of January, building its historical mission concerning NEAR on metaverse.

Events on Metaverse and Interviews with NEAR Artists (1950 usd in NEAR): events on Cryptovoxels to spread NEAR Protocol, to showcase visual artists and musicians, to bring artists to metaverse, and to collect their art, with interview and marketing.

NEAR Metaverse Magazine #2 (700 usd in NEAR) : a magazine focused on near artists and near events on metaverse. Our products here would be the own online magazine in pdf format minted as NFT on Mintbase and the data base of near artists and metaverse events, and the magazines stored in the building as wearables. The magazine will be produced by screenshots of events and artists and some text about them, inasmuch as the interviews we make and all the researched material. The importance of this project is to be a way to systematize and to showcase near community and metaverse events, with a historical perspective.

Metaverse DAO’s NFT Collection (250 usd in NEAR): Collecting NFTs to stimulate the participation of artists in our parties on metaverse, stimulate submission to virtual exhibitions, stimulate the artists to keep minting on NEAR, and increase the economic distribution among the community.

Party Ambient for NEAR Metaverse Connection Center on the Roof and Wearable Creation (1000 usd in NEAR): To build a party ambient on our cryptovoxels building and the associated wearables, inasmuch as every wearable we are going to use to build our parties and to giveaway to visitors.

Metaverse Recordings and NFTs (250 usd in NEAR): Reporter goes to metaverse parties from near, records the events, edits the videos and mints them.

Metacoin Token and Preparation to Decentralized Metaverse DAO Project (350 usd in near): the idea here is to prepare a whitepaper for the token from metaverse dao (or to follow the same path of MarmaJ), to start distributing it through the community, to feed the liquidity pool and to prepare holders to submit projects next month.

NEAR Protocol Podcasts (Educational Feature) (500 usd in near): a series of bi-weekly podcasts talking about NEAR Protocol, uploaded on youtube and minted on Mintbase.
These are the projects that the metaverse DAO would actualize for the month of January. All these projects are approved by the Metaverse DAO.
