It’s great to see that you’ve taken the step to become involved with the Creatives community!
For anyone who doesn’t know, Local Maker Mart hosted Kin DAO for our in person NFT exhibition Hyphae in October 2021! So we are happy to see this community exploring the NEAR ecosystem deeper.
While we are happy to have you join us here, we would like to make you aware that this is a community consisting of many DAOs that (beginning this month) will be voting on all funding proposals. It would be great to begin building some relationships with the other DAOs/community members here to let everyone know who you are and begin building trust! Usually to begin, a simple introduction post can be made to make us aware of your vision and intentions as a DAO as well as introduce your DAO members before asking for funding.
Since we are already at the proposal stage, let’s backtrack a bit and learn a little more about your DAO! Some helpful information to provide would be:
- What is the official name of you DAO?
- Has your DAO been created on Astro DAO? If so, can you share the link with us?
- Who else is a part of this DAO? Creatives DAO does not fund individual projects, only Guilds or DAOs with a creative purpose can apply for creative projects.
As for the funding amount:
- Creatives DAO has a max amount of $5000 USD in NEAR for established DAOs
- For new DAOs the max is $2000 USD in NEAR for the first proposal to build trust with the community.
- If you are interested in a higher amount you should apply directly to NF (Guilds' Tiering System: An evolutionary Path for Community Development)
Because of the guidelines explained above, we ask that you please provide some more information about your DAO and adjust your finding request to a max of $2000. Keep in mind that council work should be no more than 30% of your overall budget. In this case, that would mean $600 would go to the management of the DAO.
